my multi-passionate offerings
as an artist, creator & educator
and a sapphic by the sea
Yes, I'm ADHD and love to keep lots of projects on the go! It's how I thrive as both a creative and a business owner. All of what I do has one common thread, they're all very me!

CREATIVE FREELANCER EDUCATION
I currently lecture two days a week in higher education. I teach creative students business skills so that they can set up and run their own freelance businesses and use their creative skills to earn a living once they've left education. It's something I'm passionate about and it's something all the adult artists I know keep asking me to teach elsewhere. So here it is!
The Creative Tide - a community to help you take your creative skills and turn them into an income.
Sapphic Rebel was born out of a desire to start a new creative venture, so I had the most current experience and knowledge to share with my students. Setting up an Etsy store has changed a lot since I first created one!
And also because after relocating to the south coast, I'd managed to lose my creative practice amidst all the stress and chaos. This was a fun way for me to play and find joy in creativity again.
At my core, I'm an artist. I dabble in a range of media and studied Graphic Design, Illustration & Photography at undergrad level and then Photography postgrad. I worked as both a professional photographer and graphic designer for well over a decade.
Much of the work you'll find on the artist section of this website is my photography work and it's predominantly rooted in feminist research and art history.
